The Tenka Akebono Wakasa chopsticks are elegant chopsticks with black and dark red layered showing beautiful streaks of subtle color. There's a Tensoge angled bevel at the handle end. The handles have an almost octagon shape. The chopsticks have a base of Malas wood (Homalium tomentosum), harvested in Indonesia. They have an Acrylic protective finish.
